General Online Resources:

Swing Education Article: Click here  Lots of online options for all content

Discovery Education: Click here  This web site is free to students right now through Prince William County Schools! Students login by using their Office 365 account but leave off the @pwcs.edu Click on the link provided.

Flexbooks: Click here I found this web site and so far, I really like how the math lessons are presented. I like the built-in interactive parts and the instant two or so problems to check for understanding as you are working. There are other subjects and lots of grade levels. (Scroll down once you are on the page to see all the options.)

*** More options will be coming:)

Math Online Resources:

1) Student Online Textbook - Chapters are full of lessons with videos, examples, and in the back of the book, it has the answers to odd problems so students know they are working problems correctly. If a student doesn't know why they missed a problem, he or she may email me the problem or take a picture of it with their work, and I'd be happy to work with them. To access the online textbook, students login to their Office 365 account, and go to Clever, then to Math Big Ideas.
***In my Files and Documents section of this web page, in the Math folder, you will see a folder for Math Objectives. Inside is a document that
correlates what we cover with Virginia SOLs to where to find it in the textbook.

2) Khan Academy 6th Grade CurriculumClick here  Although this site may not perfectly align with our Virginia Standards, the progression is very good and lots we have covered. There are great explanation videos and practice problems. If you make a free account, it will save your progress. You may also search for individual topics that you'd like more practice on.

3) IXL.com - All students have a login for IXL.com. There is lots of opportunity to advance mathematical knowledge and to continue practicing review material. If a student answers incorrectly, IXL doe a great job with a Notes section as review notes to answer the question and will show how the question should have be done correctly, step by step.

4) Math Common Core Worksheets for Practice with Answers AvailableClick here   This is a great website for finding a quick, practice sheet of all math topics.
