Amy Shelton

Bull Run Middle School would like to welcome and introduce Amy Shelton to our staff as our new Counseling Director who will be starting during the 2021-22 school year.   Ms. Shelton will be replacing Jennifer Bullen who is transferring to The Nokesville School.

Amy Shelton is currently a School Counselor coming from Gainesville Middle School.  She has experience in creating and implementing a variety of programs to promote student success.   She also has experience in creating student centered initiatives and with scheduling classes.  Amy has a diverse work background including being a Registered Dietitian and an Adjunct College Professor prior to becoming a School Counselor for Prince William County Schools. Her degrees include a Bachelor's in Dietetics, Master's in Public Health, and a Master's in School Counseling.  She is currently working on a Doctorate in Community Care and Counseling with a focus in Traumatology from Liberty University.  Amy is married with three children and resides in Nokesville. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, singing, traveling, and watching her kids' sporting events.

We are very excited that Ms. Shelton is joining our staff and she will be actively involved in preparing student schedules and preparing for the return of students to the building in August.  Please give Ms. Shelton a warm Bull Run Middle School welcome!
