Daily Screenings

  • All parents are required to conduct the daily home screening for students prior to allowing them to attend in person.  Daily Home Screening for Students .
  • If there are any COVID-19 and/or influenza-like symptoms such as a fever, cough, difficulty breathing, sore throat, nasal congestion, loss of taste or smell, vomiting, muscle/ache fatigue, students should not report to school.

Safety Protocols

  • Face coverings are required to be worn while on school grounds and inside the building. The exception will be when students are eating or are outside with greater than 10-foot distancing.
  • A face covering will be required even while seated in desks that are behind plexiglass barriers.
  • PPE will be provided upon request.  If a student loses their face covering or mask, forgets one at home, or if their mask gets damaged, we will provide a disposable mask for the student.
  • Students who refuse to wear their mask consistently while in-person may be required to return to virtual learning.
  • Our custodial staff frequently cleans high touch areas like doorknobs, sinks, bottle filling stations, and restrooms throughout the day.
  • Our staff will be stationed throughout the building to remind students about face covering requirements and physical distancing.
  • Signage is posted throughout the building to remind students of the expectations.
  • Hand sanitizer is in every classroom and hand sanitizing stations are located around the school.

  • Students will bring their own supplies to school.
  • School supply lists:  Pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, sharpeners, will be requested for student notetaking and scratch paper.
  • Students will be permitted to carry their backpacks throughout the day as no lockers will be utilized.
  • Students will be asked to bring their school-issued laptop with them to school on in-person days, and to carry them from class-to-class.
  • If a student did not request a school-issued laptop for virtual learning, one will be issued to the student as they return to school.
  • Backpacks will be stored under the student’s desk in the classroom.
  • Papers/worksheets will not be handed to students or expected to be collected. Work will be submitted via Canvas.
  • Headphones will be provided for all students; however, if students would like quality headphones, they should bring their own.
  • Students should bring their Bull Run agenda to use to write in assignments as well.  We will issue the agendas if they have not received one.
