Welcome Rising 6th Grade Students!
Rising 6th Grade Parent/Student Information Night: March 4, 2026 6:00-7:00 pm
Rising 6th Grade Music/Performing Arts Selections:
All 6th graders must take a music/performing arts class. If your child is interested in playing an instrument, they should choose band or orchestra in 6th grade because we do not offer beginning classes in 7th grade. Please choose carefully as these selections help guide our staffing and scheduling processes. Music selections are due March 27, 2026. FYI- BRMS has several rental or loaner instruments for students when needed. If you have a concern about instrument costs, please email the music teachers. We do not want cost to keep a student from being able to learn an instrument.
Instrument Try Outs for Band and Orchestra next year are coming up in May!
All rising 6th grade band or orchestra students must attend one of the following evenings to be placed in the correct Band or Orchestra class next year.

On June 8th and June 9th, we will host the students from our main feeder schools during the school day for this transition event from 10:00 to noon. The school listed above will be bused to BRMS. We also have a handful of students from other elementary schools zoned for Bull Run. They are also welcome to attend but must have their own transportation. This event is for students only.
